DOMINIQUE REDMOND MILTON, CMP

Graduating from San Diego State University in 2008 with a Bachelor’s of Science degree in Hospitality and Tourism Management with an emphasis in Meeting and Event Operations and Management, Dominique comes with years of events and management experience.  Throughout her hospitality career she has worked as Senior Meetings and Special Events Manager at various notable properties such as The Ritz-Carlton, Los Angeles and The JW Marriott Los Angeles, L.A. Live. While with The Ritz-Carlton and Marriott brands Dominique received numerous accolades including being a 3-time recipient of Manager of the Quarter and also receiving the prestigious Leader of the Year award. She has experience is large conventions, galas, fundraisers, corporate and social markets, and a special emphasis in the sports market. Most recently she has held the position of Destination Service Director for the Los Angeles Tourism & Convention Board where she promoted Los Angeles as a destination for meetings and events to meeting planners around the nation.  While showcasing the city she also handled all event logistics and budget management for meetings, tradeshows, and familiarization trips to promote the city of Los Angeles as a key destination.

Another, key area of focus for Dominique is Community involvement. She has been a Youth Leader/Mentor since 2014 and has organized several youth and community events including various Youth Rally’s, A Day of Beauty for young women empowerment, and Life is a Battlefield to teach the youth how to cope with issues in life.

Dominique is a Certified Meeting Professional (CMP) with the Convention Industry Council since 2013 and is a member of Delta Sigma Theta, Sorority Inc.
